How a TFP - Collaboration Works
The Core Agreement
Each participant brings a specific skill to the table.
The Photographer provides the gear, post-processing (editing).
A Professional Fashion Photographer will be incharge of the shoot so you get best results. The Model provides the look, posing, and often their own wardrobe.
A makeup artist can be included if the model can arrange for the same. The Benefit: Everyone walks away with high-quality content to show future paying clients without having to pay a professional fee to the other party.
The DeliverablesThis is where most TFP misunderstandings happen. It is vital to agree on these before the shoot:
How many images? Usually, it’s 5–10 retouched photos.
The Timeline: When will the edits be ready? (e.g., 2 weeks).
Usage Rights: Usually, everyone can post to social media and websites, but neither party can sell the photos to a third party (like a stock photo site) without permission.
